Villa General Belgrano

Villa General Belgrano, Argentina

A city of beer, Villa General Belgrano is one of the most beautiful districts in Córdoba and it lies 750 meters above sea level, between the Sierras Chicas (Small Mountain Range) and the Sierras Grandes (Large Mountain Range), which ensure a unique micro climate. It stands 87 kilometers to the South of the City of Córdoba and 110 kilometers from the Pajas Blancas International Airport, a privileged site in the vast Calamuchita Valley.

In this village of Córdoba, October is a synonym for good and plentiful beer. Thousands of people engage on a pilgrimage to this spot every year to take part in one of the most longed-for event in Villa General Belgrano: the National Beer Festival (Oktoberfest Argentina).

Villa General Belgrano also helds two more national festivals: the Alpine Chocolate Festival, in July, and the Fiesta Nacional de la Masa Vienesa, in April. Year after year, more and more tourists from all over the world come along to enjoy these unique events that are held in surroundings of incredible natural beauty.
