Very Important: This is not a Gaucho Party!. This is a full day in the countryside in a traditional ranch of the Argentine pampas. A Relais and Chateaux product.
09:00 Departure from your hotel to San Antonio de Areco, the oldest town in Buenos Aires, for a visit to the small town, its old country stores, museums, and silversmiths. Entrance tickets are additional. After the visit continues to La Bamba De Areco Ranch, a real traditional working ranch of the Argentine pampas.
11:30 Welcome reception at the ranch with wine, soft drinks, meat pies. Free time to visit and enjoy the facilities including an outdoor swimming pool and large park.
13:30 Traditional BBQ including different meats cooked over wood embers, chicken, gourmet salads, and desserts from the local gastronomy. Wines and soft drinks.
15:00 After the meal, guests are invited to make horse rides in our 150 hectares, bordering the Areco river, or use our bicycles or relax at the swimming pool
17:00 Traditional English tea with homemade pastries including cakes, scones, croissants, homemade marmalades, and butter.

San Antonio de Areco, one of the oldest towns in Argentina, is located only 13km away and invites you to return to the eighteenth century with its narrow colonial streets, church, bars, and museums. Explore the soul and character of the gaucho at the Ricardo Guiraldes Gaucho Museum, whom the famous Argentine writer brought to life in his cult novel Don Segundo Sombra (1926).
